Introduction




Muhaddith al-A'zam Worldwide Mission is a charitable public trust of Sunni Muslims especially following the Great Saintly Order of Silsila al-Ashrafiya, al-Qadiriya, al-Chistiya. This Sufi order was founded by Hadrat Sultan Sayyad MAKHDOOM ASHRAF Jahangir Semnani Radi 'Allahu anhu in Eight Century Hijri.



This Mission is in the pious name of Makhdoom al-Millat Hadrat Abul Muhamid Al-Hajj Sayyad Muhammad al-Ashrafi al-Jilani MUHADDITH AL AZAM AL HIND, Qud'das Allahu Ta'ala Sirrah al-Aziz  (Kicchocha Shareef)  described as - '' One of the Greatest Muhaddith's to have come from Asia. ' It is under the pure and sheer guidance of our great Murshid and Rehbar, His Eminence Hadrat Shaykh al-Islam w'al Muslimeen Raees al-Muhaqiqin Pir Sayyad Shah Muhammad Madani Miya al-Ashrafi al-Jilani Janasheen al-Huzoor Muhaddith al-Azam al-Hind Rahmatullahi alayh.

Muhaddith al-A'zam Worldwide Mission is a charitable movement as well as an institution and centre for activities for the revival of Muslims belonging to the Ahl as-Sunnah w'al Jama'ah. It does not have any relation with politics.

As Hadrat Muhaddith al-A'zam was a Mission himself (he was a mission of spraying the Message of Allah Almighty, of refuting hypocrites, disbelievers and heretics, of helping destitute, and solving common problems of Muslims, of Al-Qur'an and Hadith, of establishing Madrassas and Darul Ulooms) so we believe that to work through the Mission is the best way to pay homage to Makhdoom al-Millat Hadrat Muhaddith al-A'zam al-Hind Rahmatullahi alayh.



This Mission as a registered institution started in the early 1980's, and has done so many works and activities that it would take a whole book to describe. Insha-Allah we will be able to show some of them in this website later on. This Mission has served so well in the state of Gujerat in India as well as the outlying states, that it is probably the most effective institution of Sunnis in these regions.    

 

Our Mission has spread all over the world, in fact in every continent and has millions of  mureeds in Asia, Australasia, the Americas, Europe and Africa. It has spread not only because of the piety of Khanwada-e-Ashrafiya, but also because of its charity, education and institution.




Aims




This organisation is in the pious and sheer name of one of the greatest Muhaddith's to have come from Asia who motivated, pioneered, revolutionised and uplifted each and every type of communty, trusts, institutions of Muslims, activated and found so many Darul Ulooms and Madrassas, helped Millions of poor and destitute and established a motto to serve from a different style and view of working. He himself was an institution a university and of course a great Sufi Saint.

                               



 

Hadrat Shaykh al-Islam is the sole chief and the sole decider on the each and
every minor or major decision of the mission. He established this in Gujarat
State to spray the message of true path that is the Ahl as-Sunnat W'al Jama'at
in the name of his father.



We the members of the mission are abide to support fully in each and every
activity like educational, religious, national awareness, creative steps to
remove poverty and to pour the essence of dignity in the lesser known
communities and to make people progressive and creative.



To force Muslims to leave bad habits and mean customs that prevails in the
community.


 
To establish a court on the Shariat basis from which we can settle down the
unsolved problems and to make people to give up inner adversity.


 
To do such work that can relieve needy people from the clutches of interest
and overdue.


 
To found a Bait al-Maal in which any one can donate either Zakaat or Lillah
or just donations and to distribute it to the poor class and the righteous
people who desperately need financial help.


 
To publish that kind of literature from which people can gain every kind of
knowledge of Islam and learn to live the Qur'anic way of living life.


 
To take part in such activities or steps that are helpful to uplift the status of
the Ahl as-Sunnah w'al Jama'ah.


 
To help and to give support to the institutions those are involved in impro
-ving Sunni World and Muslims.

 
To stop all hypocrites to spray their false religion and to create such
weather that can keep every one united like the Sunni Ulemas and the
Sayyads.  


 
To give Muslims the real Islamic style of education, like to organize
functions for the literature of Al-Qur'an, to establish Madrassas and to
build Mosques and libraries of Islamic and worldly literature.


 
To remove common illiteracy means to open new schools for the Muslims
and to make and urge them to continue study and make available all things
that are needed. Each and every type of Muslims from each class should
be benefited.


 
To prevent and to stop and to refute people converting to other religions
and make them heal in the essence of Islam and to make them realize that
they are from the pure and true religion.


 
To create such conditions and atmosphere from which people can have a
richer attitude towards Al-Qur'an and towards Huzoor Salla Allahu 'alayhi
wa Sallam. To  make them realize the greatest ness and status of Al-Qur'an
and Huzoor Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam.


 
To make and inspire Muslims to get rid from bad habits and mean activities.
To let them and lead them to do good and appraisable works, to earn the
righteous way and to show them proper ways to earn.


 
To direct and to administrate properly the spraying activities of Islam and
to construct and establish committees and to lead them properly.
To remove and to think about the solutions for certain kind of dogmas,
unawareness and narrow mindedness.


 
To unite all the fronts and sects of Muslims and let them benefit the entire
 Muslim community.

 
To try heartily to improve institutions that needed improvements.


 
To establish new Madrasas and Primaries as needed that can have a vast
network so all can have religious, scientific, cultural and social knowledge.


 
To establish a centre for Fatwa's, which can deliver each and every types
of literature, documents and can refute hypocrites and infidels.

 
To spray the literature related to the lifestyle's and working style's of
Great Shahabas, Awliyas, Sufi's and Saint's and make people to abide and
follow them.


 
To establish Presses and Centres to activate religious, educational, social
and financial works and activities.


 
To protect and to make the ways of protection of the monuments and the
signs of former Muslims as well as Saints. These are related to historical,
cultural and social values of the Muslims.


 
To protect and to preserve Cemeteries, Mosques, Shrines and Abodes of
the Muslims.


 
To urge Muslims to have a good attitude towards national integration and
have a proper view of real nationality in the essence of Al-Qur'an and
AHadith.


 
To do such activities that can benefit people, which are not described in
above quoted aims. 




History




The family of Hadrat Sultan Sayyad Makhdoom Ashraf Jahangir Radi Allahu anhu came to be known as known as 'Khandan e Ashrafiya' and the forefather of this dynasty in India is Hadrat Sayyad Abdul Razzaq Noor al-Ayn Radi Allahu anhu. This family came to be known as Ashrafi Sadat ( Sadat - e - Ashrafiya ). His Eminence Hadrat Shaykh al-Islam is a direct descendent of this family as can be seen from the family tree set out below ;

In the course of succeeding generations ; the family traditions of Islamic learning, piety, mystic and ascetic knowledge continued to be handed from father to son and the Ashrafi dynasty produced one saint after another who served the wider Muslim community. However with the birth of A'laHadrat Shaykh al-Mashaikh Mawlana Al Haj Abu Ahmad Sayyad Muhammad Ali Hussain Ashrafi ("Ashrafi Miya" - Rahmatullahi alaih), five hundred years after Sayyad Abd'al Razzaq Noor al-Ayn radi allahu anhu the dynasty was given a new lease of life.
