RABI UL AWWAL: SALAH AND SUPPLICATIONS
Translated Articles & Extracts will be published in this page
This magnificent encyclopedia on the subject ofTasawwuf was written and compiled in the Eight Century Hijri. This book is based on the Malfoozat ; the Islamic spiritual advices, edicts, judicial opinions and narratives. It is a unique first, since it was written and compiled by Hadrat Sayyad Makhdoom Ashraf Jahangir Semnani's Radi Allahu anhu most senior and intimate Khalifah Hadrat Nizam Yamani Radi Allahu anhu and secondly because it was authenticated and approved by Makhdoom Paak themself.
It's first recorded translation (first nine chapters only) was rendered by Hakim Nazar Ashraf Rehm. grandfather of Hadrat Shaykh al Islam. The urdu translation attached to the above link was undertaken by Hadrat Mawlana Shams Bareilly Rehmatullahi alaih, an accomplished specialist scholar with profound linguistic and literary skills in the urdu, farsi and arabic language. He has translated many classical works in farsi and arabic to the urdu language, one famous notable work was the 'Madarij an-Nubuwwah' Stations of Prophethood. The original farsi manuscripts where later found deposited in various libraries.
Due to the ill health of Hadrat Mawlana Shams Bareilly at the time, the task of comparing and authenticating the original manuscripts with the said translations was granted to Dr Khidr Naushahi. Dr Khidr Naushahi is a distinguished scholar in Persian language, literature and history combined with profound research in Ilm at-Tasawwuf. The said Dr's ancestory goes back to Hadrat Naushahi Ganj Baksh Qadiri Radi Allahu anhu.
The book was published under the instruction and supervision of Nadhar Ashraf Shaykh Muhammad Hashim Rida Ashrafi - (former executive director of the Muslim Commercial Bank) of Pakistan, and Khalifah of Hadrat Sarkar-e-Kalan Sayyad Mukhtar Ashraf Rehmatullahi alaih.
Insha-Allah with time and with your du'as we shall be translating extracts from Lataif al Ashrafi into these pages.

THE TENTH SHARAF: Mention of the Blessed Month of Rabî ul-Awwal: Salâh and Supplications
On the first eve [of Rabî ul-Awwal], after Salat ul-Maghrib offer rakatayn: two units of Salâh. In each rakat after reciting Sûrah al-Fâtiha, recite Sûrah al-Ikhlâs three times. After ending with salâm repeat the following a hundred times:
Allâhumma Sall-i- alâ Muhammadin-wa alâ Âl-i-Muhammadin-wa Bârik wa Sallim bi Rahmatika Yâ Arham ar-Râhimîn
On the third eve [of Rabî ul-Awwal, after Salât ul-Maghrib] offer four rakât and in each rakat after Sûrah al-Fâtiha read Âyat ul-Kursî, Sûrah Tâhâ, Sûrah Yâsîn [once] and Sûrah Ikhlâs three times.
Also, on the Twelfth Day of Rabî ul-Awwal recite Sûrah al-Ikhlâs three hundred and sixty times. On the twenty first day of this Blessed Month offer rakatayn: two units of Salâh reciting Sûrah Muzzammil [once] in each rakat after Sûrah al-Fâtiha.
