World of Tasawwuf

In the time of the Prophet, Tasawwuf was a reality without a name, today Tasawwuf is a name, but few know its Reality

JIHAD EXPAINED

12th October 2008 :

  Urs Pirani Amma Sahiba1429H

Just under 12 months ago the Khanwada-e-Ashrafiyya suffered two
great losses. The blessed eliya (wives) of Hadrat Shaykh al Islam
w'al Muslimeen Sayyad Muhammad Madani Ashrafi, & Hadrat Ghazi
al-Millat Sayyad Muhammad Hashmi Ashrafi ; Marhuma Sayyida
Shameema Rahmatallahi alayhaa & Marhuma Sayyida Mubasharrun-
nisa Rahmatallahi alayhaa both passed away in India within a space
of a few days. This loss of our 'spiritual mothers' affected and
continues to affect millions of muslims in all corners of the globe.

The Urs/Khatam of Marhuma Sayyida Shameena took place a few
days ago. We hope to include photos, if possible.

Urs Marhuma Sayyida Shameema : Ahmadabad Shareef 9/10/08
Urs Marhuma Sayyida Mubasharunisa : Kicchocha Shareef 10/11/08

Please contribute for the Essalae Thawaab by reciting the Qur'an.

HADRAT SHAYKH AL ISLAM W'AL MUSLIMEEN

'Rais al Muhaqiqeen' - Allama Mufti Pir Sayyad Shah Muhammad
Madani miya al-Ashrafi al-Jilani, [Spiritual Heir and Successor of
Muhaddith al A'zam al Hind, May Allah be pleased with him] is one

of the most highly respected Scholars of Islam in the contemporary
world today. Through his discourses and wise
words he has made
  a tremendous impact on
millions of Muslims all over the world. He
is a true Shaykh, a Sufi and a Master of

Spiritual traditions. Shaykh al Islam
belongs to a
highly respected family of
Sadaat in
the sub-continent. He comes
from the
'Ashrafi' family of Kicchcoha
Shareef.
His Eminent father was a very
famous and
prominent scholar of Hadith
and a
great Shaykh too, who was rightly
honoured by his contemporary Ulama

(scholars) and Shaykhs, as 'Muhaddith al Azam al Hind' (a prime
scholar of Hadith in the sub-continent).

It is said ...
'' Whosoever relates himself to a Shaykh, in one way or another
thinking that his relationship will free him from something in the
shari'ah, is sorely mistaken. Tasawwuf is not about wearing the
patched up wool, weeping when singers sing, shouting, dancing
  or enjoying 'these things,' nor is it about behaving like a madman;
rather tasawwuf is about being pure without turbidity & following
the Haqq, the Qur'an, din, And humbling thyself to Allah Almighty

feeling unworthy & sad, of having committed sins throughout life.''

 'Pasban-e-Shari'ah' ...

                                       Fortunate be the Sinners;
the Prophet's love is vibrant, ...

THE IMPORTANCE OF CONFORMING TO SHARI'AH

''Tasawwuf is a long journey leading to the Infinite One and
demands unending efforts. It is a marathon to be run without
stopping with an unyielding resolution and without anticipating
anything worldly. It has nothing to do with Western or Eastern
types of mysticism or yogism or philosophies''

''Sufism is the internal mystical dimension of 'Islam', and not
a catchall or generic term for any and all kinds of esotericism,
gnosticism or mysticism. In the same way that Sufism exists
at the very heart of Islam, so too all the earlier dispensations
have had, and do have, their own unique mystical dimension.
It is, however, a mistake to call the mystical dimension of
another tradition or religion "Sufism"' !

''Just as Kabbala is a mystical dimension of Judaism, or Tantra
is an esoteric dimension of Hinduism, or Zen is an esoteric
dimension of Buddhism, Sufism is the mystical dimension of
Islam, and one cannot rightly say that it is the mystical,
esoteric, gnostic dimension of any religion other than Islam.
Neither is Sufism something isolated unto itself nor is it a new
religion. If one is a Dominican, one is by definition a Christian,
just as if one is a Chassid, one cannot really be anything else
but a Jew. Similarly it is not possible to be a Sufi unless one
    is a Muslim.''

''Many of the ignorant think that the Sufis are lax in conforming
to Shari'a. Far be it from them to be attributed such a belief!
The very first foundation of their path is the Sunnah and the
    avoidance of what contravenes it!''

'SAHENSHAH AL KITABAT' HADRAT GHAZI AL MILLAT

Shaykh al Tariqat, Hadrat GHAZI AL MILLAT Allama wa' Mawlana Pir
Sayyad Shah Muhammad Hashmi Miya Ashrafi al-Jilani
[Hadrat
  Shaykh al Islam's
younger brother] is one of the most renowned
speakers in the world today. Hadrat Ghazi-e-Millat
is also most highly respected as a Shaykh, a Sufi and has many thousands of murids across every continent such is his standing, piety & personality.

Prophetic Hadith

Allah, In His Name [I begin]; The Most Compassionate, The Most Merciful

Praise be to Allah: before whose oneness there was no before, unless the Before was He ... & ... after whose singleness there is not an after, save the after be He. He is ... & ... there is with Him ... no after ... nor before ... nor above ... nor below ... nor far ... nor near ... nor union ... nor division ... nor how ... nor where ... nor when ... nor time ... nor moment ... nor age ... nor being ... & ... nor place.
